The Sleaford All-Knighters Scooter Club donned fancy dress to deliver, en masse, mince pies and a tipple of festive cheer to residents at Roxholm Hall Care Centre, outside Sleaford.

It was the third year the club has made the ride, each time to Roxholm Hall.

Sleaford’s Barge and Bottle pub, which served as the starting point, donated port to the event, while the mince pies came courtesy of the Sleaford branch of Greggs, market trader Neil Lamont, and Cara Jade Sandy, a member of the public who had heard about the run.

Jay Roffey, club treasurer, said: “It was a cold and wet ride on the scooters to the care home but worth it to see the smiles and join in the singing that goes with our visit.”
