There are to be two chances to see what the general election candidates standing for the Sleaford and North Hykeham seat have to say.
On Friday, BBC Radio Lincolnshire will be broadcasting its morning programme with presenter Melvyn Prior from Sleaford Market Place with a phone in about Sleaford.
Programme producer Andy Roach explained this will be followed by a live debate between the five candidates from 11am until 12noon.
The candidates are: Stephen Phillips (Conservative), Jason Pandya-Wood (Labour), Matthew Holden (Liberal Democrat), Marianne Overton (Lincolnshire Independents) and Steven Hopkins (UKIP).
○ On Sunday, St Denys’s Church is hosting a hustings debate chaired by Rev Philip Johnson, vicar of Sleaford. The event starts at 7.30pm.
Churchwarden Anne Smillie-Pearson said: “We are asking for people to send any questions of the candidates in to the parish office and all are welcome to come along and hear what they have to say.”
