Sleaford Police are asking people to be considerate of residents following reports of youths banging on the doors of elderly residents.
The force received a call from someone on Hood Close, in Sleaford, who was worried by the banging.
Officers have asked people to be considerate, particularly in the run up to Hallowe’en.
One officer told The Standard: “Although it’s not major anti-social behaviour it has been enough to upset someone.”
However, they added: “We’re not going to go around arresting someone just for trick or treating.”
They asked anyone who witnessed anti-social behaviour to call police non-emergency number 101.
