Lincolnshire Co-op funeral homes are inviting families in the area to remember loved ones this festive season with the launch of memorial Christmas trees.
The Co-operative funeral home in Duke Street, Sleaford, will have a memorial tree where people can place personalised messages in tribute to family and friends they have lost. There will be a coffee morning on Friday December 1 to launch the trees, as well as providing a space for remembrance and reflection.
There will also be an opportunity for attendees to donate to the Co-op’s Community Champions, local homelessness charities that support people in the community.
Head of Funerals David Dernley said: “We are pleased to offer this service during such a difficult time for those in our community who have lost loved ones, and hope that they will find comfort in writing and displaying their messages.”
