Audiences will be invited to roar with laughter - or at least emit a few titters - when classic comedy drama The Lion in Winter comes to Sleaford.
Brought to the stage in a ‘one-off’ performance by the Adhock Theatre Company, the show will play at the Sleaford Playhouse on Saturday, June 18, from 7.30pm.
The Lion in Winter, by James Goldman, is described as a modern day classic.
A promoter for the show says: “Comedic in tone, dramatic in action, the play tells the story of the Henry II and his family during the Christmas of 1183.”
The show was made famous by the 1968 film of the same name starring Peter O’Toole and Katherine Hepburn.
Stalls tickets are £10 (£9 conc), while balcony tickets are £9 (£8 conc).
