There will be disruption to rail services between Peterborough and Doncaster via Sleaford over the Easter weekend

According to Network Rail, there will be work carried out between Spalding and Sleaford South Junction and will see drainage and track renewed over the Easter weekend.

A Network Rail spokesperson said: “Due to planned engineering works on the line to improve drainage and renew track between Sleaford and Spalding, rail replacement buses will be in operation between these stations on Saturday April 4 and Monday April 6. Rail services on these days will operate separately from Doncaster to Sleaford and Spalding to Peterborough.”

Services between Nottingham and Skegness will run as normal.
