The A15 between Lincoln and Sleaford is now pretty much clear again after a caravan overturned partially blocking the road this afternoon (Tuesday).
The incident happened at about 2.20pm on the A15 at the Ashby de la Launde junction, say Lincolnshire Police.
Police and recovery vehicles attended as the rear of the upside down caravan, being towed by a VW, was left overhanging the road with the car in a ditch.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “We became aware that a vehicle had lost control and the caravan attached to it subsequently jacknifed.”
He said another vehicle collided with the car or caravan (it is unclear which) causing more damage and no-one is thought to have been injured.
The caravan was completely wrecked.
The road was blocked while the vehicles were towed out.
