Sleaford’s award-winning railway station ticket office worker Kim Cinavas was excited to earn a private meeting with the Prime Minster at Downing Street last week.
Kim, from Heckington, was given the Outstanding Individual award by East Midlands Trains and was one of nine selected from around 200 people from the British transport industry attending the event for a personal chat with David Cameron.
She said: “It was wonderful being there. I thought I would be nervous but because everyone was in the same boat I was quite calm and took it all in. Going through that door and up the stairs seeing pictures of all the former Prime Minsters was wonderful.”
She described Mr Cameron as down-to-earth and “quite nice”.
