A programme of resurfacing is scheduled to take place on the A15 at Aswarby, near Sleaford, during October.
The county council says the works will ensure that the road will have a longer lasting, more durable surface, avoiding the need for future unscheduled works which cause greater disruption.
Work will take place overnight to minimise disruption to the travelling public. The contractor will be required to keep noise to a minimum after 11pm.
The work at Aswarby will be from October 5-14. The A15 will be closed between 8pm and 6am, between Aunsby Road and the water treatment works. (Access to Tally Ho! Pub to be maintained). A diversion will be in place via the A52, B6403, A153. Work will take place Monday to Thursday nights, with no work taking place Friday to Sunday nights.
Due to the nature of the work, the impact of weather, and the fact it is a rolling programme of work these dates may be subject to change.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and drive with extra care and reduced speed over the newly treated surfaces until all road markings have been replaced.
