Train services halted after person hit by a train

East Midlands Railway reported that services could not run between Lincoln Central station and Sleaford and Peterborough.

Emergency services were called to the scene after the incident was reported at about 4pm.

“If using this route, please speak to station staff or use help points to arrange transport,” the rail operator stated.

Services were not expected to resume until after 6pm and they are running as normal again today.
