The family of a motorcyclist killed in a crash this week have paid tribute to him.
Jonathan Green died aged 53 in a collision with a car on Tritton Road in Lincoln on Tuesday. A woman was later arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
Mr Green was well-known in the Caythorpe area, having been brought up in the village. He went to Sir William Robertson High School in Welbourn.
In a statement, his family said: “On the 11th August, Jonathan Green was on his way home from work on his motorbike when he was involved in a collision.
“Tragically, he died at the scene. He leaves a huge hole in our lives and words can’t describe how devastated the family is feeling. Jonathan was a dedicated father and a friend to everyone.”

Mr Green, living in Lincoln, was riding a white Triumph Bonneville motorcycle and collided with a silver Audi TT car driven by a 25-year-old Lincoln woman.
The road was closed until 7.40pm.
The driver of the Audi was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. She has since been released on police bail to return to Lincoln Police Station while the incident is investigated further.
