UPDATE - firecrews tackle 1,000 tonnes of chaff on fire

Fire crews were still dealing with a fire at Boothby Graffoe this morning, a day after it first broke out.

The fire was first reported on Monday morning on Heath Lane, but at 9.39am this morning crews were still in attendance as approximately 1,000 tonnes of chaff were on fire, being extinguished by hosereels.

The fire was believed to have been started by spontaneous combustion.
