Sleaford Town Awards were held on Thursday evening in a continuing joint venture between Sleaford Town Council and the Sleaford Standard.
We will continue to release videos of the award winners accepting their trophies on our website.
Here we have Young Sleafordian of the Year Alexia Johnson, aged 10, who worked to trace names of fallen soldiers in the First World War who had been pupils at the William Alvey School, for a project which will produce a memorial.
She also raised money independently for Comic Relief by putting on a bake sale.
The winner of the Overcoming Adversity Award was digital artist Jason Wilsher-Mills who was one of only four British or western artists invited by the Royal family of Qatar to exhibit at their gallery, as well as designing two pieces for a Magna Carta anniversary exhibition at Westminster Hall celebrating democracy.
