Each month, a random draw will take place to determine one lucky winner to win a place in this year’s Spires and Steeples Challenge.
Take the chance and enter this year’s challenge and you could be taking part for free.
The draw is entirely random and there is no set day or time. Our first lucky winner for June has already been selected; could you be July’s winner?
The Spires and Steeples Challenge will take place on Sunday, October 18, and is a charity 26-mile or 13-mile walk or run starting in Lincoln or Metheringham and finishing at the National Centre for Craft and Design in Sleaford.
The race follows the Spires and Steeples Arts and Heritage Trail and is in aid of WheelPower, which provides sports wheelchairs, training and support to disabled people.
Starting at Lincoln Castle, the heritage trail follows the way marked public footpaths bridleways through the picturesque villages of North Kesteven; not to mention the beautiful art works and many churches along the way.
Entry is open to everyone and costs £18 per person for the 26-mile challenge and £15 per person for the 13-mile challenge; places are limited to 1,000.
You must be aged 16 or over to take part in the 26-mile run but children between the ages of 14 and 16 can take part in the walks and the 13-mile run, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
