Sleaford Museum, in Monument Gardens, has now been open for five months and – as planned – the first of the new window displays has been created.
‘Celebrations’ showcases a 1950s wedding dress, loaned by a local woman, with original costs of the whole event listed inside.
Other summer activities are also in the window.
There are children’s activities at the venue during normal opening hours (Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, 10am-3pm).
This free attraction is run entirely by volunteers (more helpers welcome) and relies on donations and fundraising .
Private visits for groups or organisations can be arranged.
