FOOTBALL: Sleaford sides triumph over high-flyers in Lincs League

Home wins were the order of the day in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League.
All eight games finished in favour of the home side in the latest round of league matches.
Fellow high-flyers Hykeham Town and Grimsby Borough Reserves were both beaten on the road when they visited Sleaford, while Skegness Town maintained their top spot with a 3-1 win over mid-table Lincoln Moorlands Railway, while
Top scorers of the day were Horncastle Town who hit Harrowby United Reserves for six.
Brigg Town Reserves beat Wyberton by the odd goal in five, while a Jack Boswell hat-trick helped CGB Humbertherm to victory at home to Wyberton.
Nettleham needed just the one Sam Triffitt goal to secure three points against Immingham, while Ruston Sports beat Market Rasen Town 4-2 on Newark Road.

Sleaford Sports Amateurs pulled out all the stops to see off high-flying Hykeham Town at Eslaforde Park.
Nathan Thompson and Liam Tunstall grabbed the goals as the Amateurs won by the odd goal in three.
Ben Good was on target for the visitors.
