AFC Kempston Rovers 3

Kemptston Rovers completed a double as they made their long distance trip to Eslaforde Park worthwhile.

The Greens were undone by a Shane Bush double, coming after 27 and 57 minutes that set the Walnut Boys on the road to victory.

Seb Simpson sealed Sleaford’s fate win with two minutes remaining.

The Sleaford side were Phil McGann, Ryan Clarke, Luke Hollingworth (Harrison Allen), Harry Millard, Charlie Ward, Shaun Popple, Brad Hockin, Joe Smith, Kieran Helsdown, Jamie Shaw (Jason Sedlan) and George Asplin.

Sleaford have no midweek fixtures this week or next and travel to Cogenhoe United on Saturday.

Sleaford Town Reserves on Wednesday night welcomed a very good and well-organised Lincoln City FC under-17s side who triumphed 2-0.

Despite having no game on Saturday, the Reserves remain at the top of the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League. See inside for Lincs League round-up.
