Terry Fleming left the dug-out role last month after a poor run of results which had seen the side go nine games without a win - pushing them perilously close to the UCL Premier’s relegation zone.
The club once again turned to former manager, now club chairman, Brian Rowland, who oversaw a spirited recovery by Town, who won three and drew one of their final five games to secure the club’s place in the Chroma Sports & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division for another season.
Now Town have advertised the vacant position of first team manager, with interested parties invited to apply in writing, enclosing their CV.
They are asked to write to Brian Rowland, Chairman, Sleaford Town FC, Eslaforde Park, Boston Road, Sleaford, NG34 9NN, or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The closing date for applications is Monday, May 4.
Rowland said: “We have already had a lot of interest in the post and it’s important that we have the right man in charge of the team.
“We need someone with a good knowledge of football, who can attract the right players to the club.
“We have worked hard to get Sleaford to this level of football and we want to keep the club up there.”
