Billingborough claimed a three-wicket victory against Belton Park in the South Lincs and Border League Premier Division on Saturday.
Park openers Dan Reynolds (18) and Jake Pollard (14) made their customary solid start before the excellent Nathan Garfoot (2-33) and exuberant Arron Pullum (4-25) induced a collapse to leave Belton reeling at 47-4.
The home side went on to post a respectable 170 off their allotted 45 overs.
Billingborough’s reply got off to a flier as Dave King (18) and Mitch Griffiths latched onto anything loose, racing to 58 in the 12th over before Offer took a good catch to dismiss King off Nick Law (1-31).
It took the introduction of 14-year-old spinner Jonny Law (4-21) to bring control for Belton and, as the run rate went up, Griffiths moved past his 50 before Matt Law (2-31) dismissed him for a patient and well-crafted 63.
However, Garfoot (18 not out) and Scott Tite (nine not out) steered Billingborough to 171-7 with 11 balls to spare.
