It has been a busy start to the new season for Sleaford Indoor Bowls Club.
The A Team got off to a flying start in Division Two of the Lincs League with four rink wins and just one loss at home to Skegness.
The Over 60s visited Skegness and came away with 14 points in a good win, notable successes were earned by A. Bristow’s rink of C. Grosse, J. Thomas and R. Pearson (29-14) and L. Davies’ rink of D. Woods, P. Bacon and T. Stanley (34-8).
The Trudy Bates team were beaten at Spalding.
Gillian Annison, Carole Richardson, Heather Duffy and Helen Quirke were the only rink to claim points, coming from behind to succeed 21-16.
The Friendly Team hosted Spalding, with just one rink winning in a 67-125 scoreline.
