Thursday was Sleaford Wheelers’ first evening time trial event, a shorter Osbournby eight mile course due to early season restrictions in daylight.
Sleaford Velo-One Cycling Team rider Nick Millward and team-mate Dan Carr couldn’t be split at 19min 59sec.
Neil Palmer and Antony Gough posted first and third fastest times of the evening with 16.58 and 17.40 respectively.
Earl Taylor made his time trial debut for Velo-One, posting a time of 18.37secs for sixth.
Velo-One rider Neil Palmer continued his build in form with a personal best at Team Swift’s 10 at South Cave, near Hull, on Saturday.
A 30.7mph average over the course delivered Neil a time of 19.51 to complete one of his season’s targets of a sub-20 ride.
