Their final game in their league was against Bassingham ‘B’. This was a very close tussle with Sleaford leading 7-6 at half time. In the second half ,Sleaford took the lead but Bassingham fought back.
With seconds to go before the final whistle, a toss-up outside the Bassingham attacking circle was won by the opposition and the timekeeper blew for full time. But it was not heard by the umpires and Bassingham scored to level the affair 12-12.
