Sleaford Tennis Club will be officially opening their new pavilion on Sunday.
The formal ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 2pm, but people are invited to be at the club on Boston Road from 1.30pm onwards.
The event is open to anyone interested in tennis and will enable people to see the club’s new facilities before the start of the season.
There is also an afternoon of free tennis for those who want to play, and equipment will be provided for anyone without a racquet.
Committee members and other current members will be in attendance to answer any questions about the club.
The opening of the new clubhouse will conclude a project started by the club over a decade ago to replace the original council-owned courts that had fallen into decline with a first-class tennis facility for the town and surrounding villages.
Work was fully completed in late 2014 and the pavilion provides the club with modern changing rooms, toilets, kitchen and a clubroom.
The club received £50,000 of National Lottery funding towards the cost of the pavilion to replace the temporary portacabin previously used.
