Sleaford Town Runners, pictured, will be hosting a series of Friday night runs from various pubs in and around Sleaford over the summer.
The first of these will start from The Horseshoes, Silk Wiloughby on May 29.
Rauceby Ripper creator Dean Barnshaw said: “Our club often puts on these sort of events for our members, so we thought we would open it up to the running public and anyone who is interested in a countryside run on a dusky summer’s evening.
“All people have to do to take part is bring themselves and some money for a beer.
“We have invited Sleaford Striders, the Tri-Club and runners from Total Sports, but anyone can come along, and it’s free of charge.”
The course for the opening run will be just over eight miles, but a shorter option will also be available for those who don’t want to run as far.
The runners will meet at 6.45pm to check in, with the run setting off at 7pm.
For more information on the series, you can go to Sleaford Town Runners’ Facebook page or their website at www.sleafordtownrunners, where details of further events will be posted in the coming weeks.
Sleaford Town Runners train every Thursday evening from 7pm, starting and finishing at 1Life in Sleaford.
