Sleaford Town Bowls Club played their presidents’ day competition on Sunday.
Twenty sets competed all day and emerging as winners were Peter Annison, Terry Ingam (Cranwell) and Richard Musson (Helpringham). Runners-up were Ken Dye, Bas Gilbert and Roy Markham from the town club.
At home against Eagle in the City League, two winning rinks gave the aggregate score 93-6 and 10 points to the visitors’ four.
Results: John Parker, Roger Neaverson and Derek Smith won 28-16; Kris Moore, Mick Wareham and Andrew Bird won 23-14; Trevor Cope, Neil Mapletoft and Paul Jobson lost 20-21; Peter Stokes, Phil Musson and Richard Barnes lost 22-25.
