Rauceby Ripper coming up
The next Rauceby Ripper will take place on February 7. Hosted by Sleaford Town Runners, entries are now being taken with chip timing new for 2015.
The Ripper is an eight-and-a-half to nine mile multi-terrain course, over trail, edges of fields and some road sections, starting within the grounds of Rauceby Hall, South Rauceby, and finishing again back in South Rauceby near to the Village Hall. Walkers start at 9.30am, runners at 10.30am. Parts of the course are private property, therefore runners are asked to respect landowners and avoid training on the course prior to the event. The route takes competitors over public and private land, thanks to landowners Richard Ward, David Bratley, Tim Dean and Gillian Hoare.
