Artists, writers, dancers, musicians and theatre practitioners are invited to apply for new residencies in four towns and villages across North Kesteven.
The four residencies will take place in Sleaford, North Hykeham, Waddington and Welbourn in May and June 2015.
Set up by The NK Arts Partnership (artsNK, Design Factory, Design-Nation, the National Centre for Craft and Design and the Terry O’Toole Theatre) the residencies are open to artists who work in any art form.
The residencies are the first part of Ridges and Furrows, an ambitious arts project for the district that celebrates the area’s rich heritage and will culminate in a festival across the four locations in 2016. Selected artists will work with communities in each location to draw on the particular history of the area.
The partnership especially welcomes artists from the district with relevant experience. Deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday January 16. If you wish to discuss the residencies further email Lucy Lumb at: firstname.lastname@example.org or call 07825 048055.
