Digby held its annual Christmas Market at the village hall on Saturday when people got the festive season started in fine style.
The Christmas market raised a record £957 towards replacing the village hall heating system and this year it was combined with the village school, which hosted a winter wonderland, complete with ice skating rink and bouncy castle, and the chance to meet Elsa from Frozen.
The village was buzzing and the hall had a large variety of stalls for Christmas gifts, mulled wine and a name the teddy competition. Fixter’s Falconry had people fascinated to see their beautiful birds of prey despite cold winds, while there was live music inside.
The previous Saturday saw Silk Willoughby’s St Denis’ Church host its annual festive event - Crafts By Candlelight.
The church was filled with stalls selling handmade goods, including hats, cards, artwork and decorations.
All proceeds went to St Denis’ Church.
