A one-day beginners photography workshop is being offered for free by the Heritage Trust for Lincolnshire.
The session takes place at the Trust’s offices in Cameron Street, Heckington from 10am to 4pm on Thursday July 9 and is for new learners aged 19 upwards.
Heritage Lincolnshire’s Beverley Gormley will help beginners to compose, shoot and edit great photos and get to know their F-stop from their aperture. Are you baffled by your camera’s settings? Want to stop using ‘auto’?
This workshop is for beginners who want to get more from their camera when photographing historic buildings, landscapes and memorials.
You’ll need to bring along your digital camera (point-and-shoot or DSLR, no camera phones or tablets). Outdoor clothing and sensible footwear is needed as you will be venturing outside into picturesque Heckington to take some photos in the afternoon.
Tea, coffee and cake is provided.
This lifelong learning course is part of the Grow programme organised by the Lincolnshire County Council Community Learning service to attract new learners.
Booking is essential. For an enrolment form email: firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01529 461499.
