Some members of a team of a dozen volunteers from Sleaford Museum are seen here taming the ‘jungle’ that Monument Gardens had become.

Liaising with the Town Council over safety they spent a morning trimming shrubs and filled four skip sacks.

Jan Spooner from the museum said: “The area looks much tidier and the town museum is more visible from all directions.”
