A family fun day is being held in Sleaford over the Easter weekend.
Sleaford’s Town Team has organised an Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 4, in Money’s Yard, from 9.30am to 4pm, with all activities to be held in a marquee, so visitors should have a great time, whatever the weather.
It promises a full day of fun activities and popular children’s entertainer Majik Bunnie will be performing free shows at 11am and 2.30pm.
Other activities at the Easter Eggstravaganza include ‘Messy Church’, a selection of arts and crafts activities with the vicar of St Denys’ Church between 12.45pm and 1.30pm. This activity is also free, although donations for St Denys’ would be welcomed.
The event will also mark the conclusion of the Easter Egg hunt, which can be completed from now until April 4, with families invited to visit several independent shops in town and collect Easter egg stickers. Once eight stickers have been collected, children can claim their prize of a real chocolate egg and a certificate at Sleaford Town Team’s stall at the Eggstravaganza.
And it’s not just children that can enjoy the hunt, adults are invited to hand in their completed Easter Egg hunt entries to the Town Team stall by 3pm to be entered into a draw for prizes such as a £30 gift voucher for Cogglesford Mill Cottage and a voucher for £20 off a meal for two at No.20.
