Visit Sleaford’s National Centre for Craft and Design (NCCD) this weekend for a celebration of nature and the Lincolnshire countryside.
Design Factory member Jane Bevan will be at the Carre Street venue on Saturday and Sunday, leading the activities.
On the Saturday, a free shop demonstration will be held between 1-4pm.
This will see Jane show how she uses natural materials to create pieces of art.
Visitors will be able to see how leaves, thorns, seeds, and bark can all be stitched, tied, and assembled together into varied and unique artworks.
On Sunday, from 10.30am to 4pm, an Autumn Ramble Workshop will be held.
This will see participants taking a stroll together, setting off from the NCCD at 10.30am, and collecting interesting examples of nature along the way.
This will be followed by an informal afternoon making late Autumn artworks including golden garlands from leaves, berries and feathers, as well as fruit platters from hedgerow materials.
The cost of the workshop, which is open to beginners, is £25. To book, call 01529 308710.
