The penultimate Saturday summer school at Sleaford’s National Centre for Craft and Design (NCCD) takes place this weekend.

The arts venue in Navigation Wharf, Carre Street, has been holding the sessions for children and young people every week since the end of July.

It is the first time it has held a Saturday summer school and has featured a wide range of artistic pursuits, including felting, filmmaking, mono-printing, graffiti art and clay relief.

On Saturday, a ‘Creative Chaos Craft Session’ will be held.

This is a drop-in event, running from 11am-4pm.

It is open to all ages with a suggested donation of £3.

A spokesman for the NCCD said: “Get involved with this messy afternoon of making.

“Pick your craft activity out of the ‘ideas hat’ and get stuck in!

“Don’t forget to add your own idea back into the hat for others to choose.”
