Counting down to the Heckington Players' annual pantomime.

The countdown is on to the latest pantomime from the Heckington Players taking to the stage ... oh, yes it is!

In January, the amateur dramatic society present Puss In Boots.

The script comes again from Kei Bailey and promises to be as magical, colourful and hilariously funny as ever.

A spokesman for the show said: “‘Puss in Boots’ tells the story of poor Tom and his pet cat.

“Down on their luck, with nowhere to live and not a penny to his name, Tom gets helped out by his friend Treacle and her Mum, Dame Victoria Sponge.

“Tom soon meets the beautiful princess Adele and they fall in love, but all is not straightforward. The evil Lord Grimguts is terrorising the kingdom and it’s down to Tom to save the day, along with his newly enchanted cat – Puss in Boots!”

Booking early is recommended. Tickets, priced at £8 for adults and £4 for children, are available from the new box office number 07486 153382.

Evening performances are on Friday, January 22, Saturday, January 23, Thursday, January 28, Friday, January 29, and Saturday, January 30, at 7.30pm; with matinees on Saturday, January 23, Sunday, January 24, and Saturday, January 30, at 2pm, all at Heckington Village Hall.
