There will be a weekend of special events taking place at Heckington Windmill over Easter starting today (Good Friday).
The open weekend runs from April 2-6, 12Noon - 5pm each day.
There will be ongoing Easter egg hunts for all the children during the weekend as well as baking demonstrations on Good Friday and Easter Saturday at 1.30pm.
Good Friday also sees delivery of the new Ruston stationery engine that will be used to power the Hurst frame for milling at times when there is insufficient wind, similar to how the mill would have worked years ago.
Mill house tea room open all weekend and the Eight Sail Brewery shop will also be open for business.
