A Sleaford-based artist will exhibit at Carre Gallery in the town starting on Monday, November 14.
Richard Thomas, 42, has lived in Lincolnshire for the past 15 years and currently lives in Greylees.
The exhibition, entitled Building Pictures, will run from Monday until Saturday, November 26.
Building Pictures will consist of hand cut out collages made from recycled items and acrylic paintings on board and canvas.
The themes which will be explored include landscapes, mythological characters, portraiture and pop culture.
Richard said: “My earliest art memory is as a boy copying from comics, marvelling at fantastic characters. This theme and love of pop culture has remained a constant in much of my work.”
Richard continued: “I have always had a passion for drawing and painting and have always been attracted to subjects such as dramatic coastline and the personal stories found through portraits.”
He has been working as an artist for the past nine years and also teaches art classes.
Carre Gallery is open from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday.
