Fans of Sleaford-based folk duo Winter Wilson have one last chance to see the pair perform locally before they take off on their latest tour of the UK.

The concert on Saturday, January 24 in Wilsford village hall will be in aid of the hall’s refurbishment fund to make the hall warmer, more attractive and user friendly and will be a double bill with Lil’ Ian Goodsman. Both are donating their talents.

Winter Wilson are known across the UK acoustic music scene for their fine original songs, stunning harmonies and off-the-wall humour. Their latest album, ‘Cutting Free’, was selected in the Daily Telegraph’s Top 10 albums of the summer.

Kip Winter commented: “Village halls are a fantastic facility that can really benefit the community, and we play village halls up and down the country so we’re happy to support this one so close to home.”

Lil’ Ian Goodsman, now resident in Wilsford, is recognized as a major force in the world of acoustic roots music having played at clubs and Festivals in the UK and internationally.

The concert starts at 8pm. Tickets at £8 are available in advance (£5 concs) from Wilsford Post Office shop, phone 01400 231440 or 01400 231062, or pay on the door.
