A tribute band to Simon and Garfunkel is heading to Sleaford’s Playhouse Theatre this Saturday.
The Sounds of Simon is made up of duo Ben Bowden and Adam Ellis, who are now in their 10th year of touring up down the UK.
A spokesman for the show said: “The Sounds of Simon have delighted theatre audiences up and down the UK with its note-perfect reproduction of the award-winning harmonies of the duo, as well as the much-publicised friction between the two singers.”
The show promises to take audiences on a musical rollercoaster, starting in 1957 and ending with hits from 1987.
Audiences will not only be transported by the musicians, but archive footage of Simon and Garfunkel will be played throughout the show.
The Sounds of Simon is excited to be returning to Sleaford and playing at the venue they know so well.
Ben Bowden said: “It’s great to come back to old friends. We sold out the theatre in 2014, so we’re really looking forward to coming back.”
Their current All Hits Tour started in last year, and will finish in November this year.
