Town to welcome top touring 60s acts

There will be a chance to experience a host of top touring 60s groups at a 60s Festival in Sleaford next weekend.

The Tremeloes (Silence is Golden, Here Comes My Baby, My Little Lady), The Fortunes (Here It Comes Again, Seasons in the Sun, Caroline), The Fourmosts (Hello Little Girl, Twist and Shout, A Little Loving), and Union Gap (Young Girl, Woman Woman, Lady Willpower) play The Legionnaires Club, in Southgate, Sleaford, on Saturday, August 1.

A number of original members feature among the groups.

The event runs from 6.30pm to 1am.

There will be a licensed bar and hot foot available on the night.

It is a ticket-only event.

Later in the year, on Saturday, October 17, the venue will hold another live 60s event.

This will feature The Foundations, Marmalade, The Swinging Blue Jeans, The Cufflinks, and more.
