Letters target bank directors
The chairman of Heckington Parish Council has written to all 14 directors of Lloyds Bank in an effort to reverse its decision to close the village's branch in October.
The company blamed changes to customer banking habits.
Coun Jan Palmer said at the council’s meeting last week that she had explained the branch serves a community, including many outlying villages too.
