Cycle from Greylees to Superman dance cancelled

THE Greylees leg of a cycle ride into Sleaford this weekend has been cancelled.

The Business Improvement District and Lincolnshire County Council teamed up to offer the Cycle and Superman Extravaganza, which will see cycle routes leave from Greylees and Leasingham to get to Sleaford in time for the world record attempt for the World’s Largest Superman Dance.

The Greylees pick-up for this challenge, which was due to leave Sleaford Golf Club at 10am, has been cancelled but the led-ride leaving Leasingham’s St Andrew’s School at 10am is still going ahead.

The route will finish at the North Kesteven District Council Car Park, Eastgate in Sleaford, where the action will continue until 2pm.

On arrival in Sleaford, at 11am, cyclists will have the chance to be part of a

world record attempt for the largest “Superman Dance” – but they will need

to register beforehand at www.supermandance.weebly.com.

For further information on the cycle ride please contact Sarah Hubery on 01522 555217 or email sarah.hubery@lincolnshire.gov.uk
