Lincolnshire artist hosts exhibition

An artist who lived in Sleaford for 35 years is to exhibit his work at Carre Gallery commencing this week.

Glynne James will be showcasing his exhibition which began on Monday and will end next Saturday at the gallery in Sleaford.

Glynne has now moved to Boston, but lived in Sleaford for 35 years with his family.

Born in Hertfordshire, Glynne James moved to Lincolnshire in 1974, and immediately fell in love with the county.

A spokesman said about exhibition pieces: “Landscape which may appear featureless to the casual observer is presented with its components highlighted.”

Glynne has recently exhibited in venues in London and Sweden, and is a Gallery Artist in Swineshead, Canterbury and Suffolk.

Glynne is now returning to Sleaford to showcase his work for the next fortnight, where all exhibits are for sale.

Carre Gallery will be open 10am to 4pm daily, and there 
is no admission fee to the gallery.
