Man charged after Billinghay incident sent to crown court

A man charged with driving while disqualified and threatening behaviour following an incident in Billinghay on Friday has had his case sent to crown court.

Kye Robinson, 28, of Victoria Street, Billinghay, appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Saturday where he was committed to Lincoln Crown Court with other related offences for trial on a date and at a time to be fixed in custody.

He was arrested by police after they were called to an address in Mill Close at 11.30am following reports of a man with a gun.

Police later confirmed the man was not armed.

A second man was released by police without charge.
