There are 36 two-day hearings taking place across the country where the public can give their views; the closest one to North Kesteven is being held at The Elliott Room, Bishop Grosseteste University, Newport, Lincoln, on Thursday, November 3 and Friday, November 4.

Anyone wanting to speak at the events need to register in advance by visiting the website www.bce2018.org.uk, entering their postcode and selecting the event they want to attend.

Speakers can comment on anything, including the suitability of the constituency’s name.

Submissions on the proposals can also be made online at www.bce2018.org.uk. For more information, visit the Boundary Commission’s website.

Two other hearings are scheduled for the East Midlands Region. They are taking place in Derby (October 27-28) and Northampton (October 31 to November 1).
