POOL: Sleaford league bid farewell to stalwart Andy

Sleaford Pool League held their presentation night last week when a special presentation was made to Andy Brett who is retiring.

Andy has been on the committee for more than 15 years and has done a massive amount to ensure the smooth running of the league.

League chairman Paul Whitaker said: “Sleaford Pool League would not be where it is today without his work.

“He has been treasurer for the last 12 years and has a knockout competition named in his honour as recognition of his hard work for the league.”

Andy was presented with a retirement plaque by Mr Whitaker and a £100 gift from the members of the pool league as a thank you and to wish him a long and happy retirement.
