Sleaford student Jemma hits the high notes at regional trampoline finals

Jemma Goacher was on top form as she secured a top 20 finish at the East Midlands regional trampoline final at Loughborough on Sunday.

The Kesteven and Sleaford Girls’ High School sixth former earned some of her best scores, including a fantastic 7.7 from one judge, to finish in a solid 18th place.

Jemma is a member of Big Jumps Trampoline Club, the first club of its kind in Sleaford, which is based at Kesteven and Sleaford Girls’ High School.

Classes run on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 5pm to 7pm, and on Saturdays from 8am to 9am, 9am to 11am and 11am to 1pm.

All abilities and ages four to 18 years are catered for.

Head coach Stephanie Lansell said: “Jemma’s form was up to standard on the day as the winning gymnasts were obtaining 7.8 and 8.0, showing the title was well in her reach. “Jemma has worked exceptionally hard this past year to secure her place in the regional final and this was a great experience for her to see how far she has come and what she has achieved.

“Big Jumps Trampoline Club would like to take this opportunity to say a huge well done to Jemma.”
