Artist wins competition

Rebecca Henson, 33, from Folkingham, won the 2016 Carre Gallery Portrait Competition with Lara. The piece was an acrylic paint portrait of Rebecca's three-year-old daughter, Lara, which took her six hours. Rebecca said: 'Winning was a complete, but very pleasant, surprise.'

Winner of the Carre Gallery Portrait Competition 2016, Rebecca Henson with her painting 'Lara' (acrylic) taken at the presentation evening at the Carre Gallery, Carre Street Sleaford on the evening of 06 October 2016.

The piece was an acrylic paint portrait of Rebecca’s three-year-old daughter, Lara, which took her six hours.
