Town’s Playhouse unlikely to reopen yet
With theatres not able to reopen for live performances at this stage under the latest government guidance, Sleaford’s Playhouse owners are not expecting to open their doors for some time.
Tom Creasey, publicity manager at Sleaford Little Theatre, said: “We have not had any meetings to discuss this. I doubt we will be opening as our sole purpose is to put on performances.
“If we cannot perform there is no point in us being open.”
Cinemas have been allowed to reopen, but venues such as the Kinema in the Woods at Woodhall Spa have had to block off two-thirds of the seats to allow enough distancing between groups.
