Last Friday (April 23) was a colourful day at Grainthorpe Junior School, with knights and princesses arriving in search of the dragon to mark St George’s Day.

Children came dressed in red and white clothes, depicting the colours of the flag of St George, to mark the occasion.

After a re-cap of the legend, the children enjoyed a variety of activities, including the creation of movies (as part of an ongoing project) and made their own dragons.

A fun day was had by all!
