Children and staff at a school near Boston made a colourful contribution to support hard working NHS staff in their ongoing battle against the Covid-19 pandemic this week.

Children of key workers who are still attending Bicker Prep School joined in a Rainbow Day in support of the NHS today (Thursday).

All pupils and staff dressed up in rainbow colours and made donations to Boston’s Pilgrim Hospital.

They learned about the important role the NHS plays in everyone’s lives too.

The pupils who have been remote learning due to lockdown restrictions also joined in at home.

The youngsters, from nursery to year six, aged 3 to 11 worked together to paint a piece each of a giant rainbow to form a ‘thank you’ banner which they displayed outside the school.
